Major Announcement
Field Work to the Elfin ForestWe had an adventure in the Elfin Forest, courtesy of The Escondido Creek Conservancy. One major highlight, as surely all students shared with family and friends, was crossing the creek on a stone path. It was a proud moment to watch our 2nd graders help each other hop across. In addition, we learned about native, non-native, and invasive plants. We returned to the classroom with this knowledge, and will begin researching the native plants that we wish to grow in our garden at school. Thank you Simon Breen and Mrs. Lee for helping us begin our journey.
